"Who says left-overs aren't any good..."

Welcome to Left-overs.com!
I don't know about the rest of you, but with my genealogy research, I've managed to gather quite a huge volume of information. Which, in itself, isn't bad. It's just that the majority of it ended up having nothing to do with my particular area of ancestral research.

|
For that reason, rather than just deleting all those unused files, I thought it might be better to make them available to those who may be able to use them. Just because they don't seem to fit into my particular family research, doesn't make them any less of a value to someone else.

Surnames You may find many of the files are partial documents or pertaining to a certain surname, but that's not exclusive. Area searches by location, as you know, bring up more information than you asked for and if you are like me, it's easier to download the entire document for later browsing than to scroll through while on-line.
Documents
Documents available are variable and include everything from Census & Vitals to Lineages & Civil War --partial or complete-- and ever changing as more is continually added.
Got some left-overs, too? If you have data that you wish to contribute to "Left-Overs", please send it by email to Chefkin. Please, use "Leftovers" in the subject line. Thanks!
Copyright I am not the original author/owner of most of the files available, although I may have made changes to them to suit my needs and purposes. Many of these files are from free search databases that are still on-line and available for access. Any of those that are not and I'm able to identify a source will be accredited with such information. However, please keep in mind that not all of the information I've found on the internet or that has been sent to me, came with source information. In such cases, I cannot provide a source but I am willing to add such information to any document upon proof. My goal, here, is not to violate the copyright laws or to offend the authors/owners of such data but to offer genealogical information to those who may find it of some use! Remember, though, that none of these files are set in stone. It is, still, always better to check the orginal documents for yourself! Good Luck & Happy Hunting!
