I bet you already knew that Genealogy is the study of family origins and history, huh? Did you also know that the word genealogy comes from two Greek words—one meaning “race” or “family” and the other “theory” or “science.” In other words, “to trace ancestry,” the science of studying family history. Bet I gotcha, there, huh?

Family Tree
Draw a large tree with branches. Then on the tree itself add your name, then on two of the branches above your name write your parents names, then above them on two other branches add your grandparents names and keep going as far back as you can go. Once you have all the names written on your tree, you can color it!
Individual Crest
Make your own shield or crest about yourself -- pictures and symbols that identify you. If you don't have a picture of a crest, can't find one, or just don't want to take the time to draw one-- you can usemine. Just make sure that it's okay with your parents, FIRST, to print this out. You might need their help with using the printer, too.
